Farewell gift for Peggy MacPhee
Peggy MacPhee has been a Mission Parter of Platt for many years. She is retiring from her work and will be visiting Platt on Sun 18th Feb. We would like to give her a financial gift of appreciation. - Practical tipsfor different ages and stages, tips for children in primary and secondary school.

This event is available to parents of all faiths or none. We strongly encourage BOTH parents to come to the workshop.

Next Foodbank collection after Sun 11th Feb
The next collection for our local Fallowfield/Withington Foodbank will be during the week after Sun 10th Dec.
They ask us to supply the following specific items: UHT milk, UHT fruit juice, biscuits, tinned fruit, tinned rice pudding and tinned custard.
Collection bins are in the glass foyer by the Breakout Space Speak to Rachael Rubie or Jo Bull for more information.

2018 Platt Church weekend away - save the date
The 2018 Platt Church weekend away will be Fri 15th - Sun 17th June 2018, we’ll be heading away to Cefn Lea Park (http://www.cefnlea.co.uk), in Wales, for a weekend of teaching and fun as a church family together. There’ll be time to eat together, hear God’s word, hang out and have fun and get to know people from all across the church.
Our speaker will be Paul Gardner. Paul is Senior Pastor of ChristChurch Presbyterian in Atlanta. Before that, his ministry has included teaching at Oak Hill Theological college for seven years, pastoring a church here in the North West for over twelve years and serving as Archdeacon of Exeter. Paul and his wife Sharon moved to Atlanta in 2005.
