      Pathfinders on a Weds

      During our time together we play games, have challenges and tournaments and sometimes we do cooking or craft. Twice a term we go on outings such as bowling, climbing or ice-skating. We also spend some time looking at the Bible together, usually in small groups. And we finish with a small tuck shop. Why not invite a friend to come along with you? more info»

      Small groups from the church who meet up to study the Bible together, pray and develop deeper relationships with each other. Platt’s House Groups are a way to experience God’s gift of church family in a smaller setting (something that occasionally feels a little harder to do in a larger church!). more info»

      We meet together for teaching and fun. It’s a great chance to ask questions, raise issues and talk stuff out to help you understand God’s word better. We also have trips and events during the term. more info»

      Women’s Bible Study

      An inspiring time of study and prayer with women throughout the church, along with some coffee and cakes! As a group, we want to grow in our understanding of the Bible, discuss issues that Christian women face in their day-to-day lives, and pray in triplets for one another. more info»

      We get together every Thursday in the main church at 7 for a meal.We then study the Bible, listen to a short talk and sing a couple of songs. Groups are mostly led by non-students who have been around a bit longer.

      Oasis

      Meetings begin with a short time of worship leading into a main activity such as a talk from a guest speaker or church member. The meeting is a forum in which the Christian message is clearly presented and provides an opportunity for fun & friendship for members. We finish meetings with tea & coffee, cake & biscuits. Throughout the year we go on outings as a group, including full day trips. more info»

      We start by eating together then we split into smaller groups to study the Bible. Roots is a great way to get to know other Christians here at Platt, as well as spend a year going verse by verse through a few books of the Bible. more info»
